Pros

- strong tie to NYT’s Rich history and mission statement. People are proud to work there, and you will too - smart, friendly and like minded people. They know how to hire people that would work well together - comp was at market for my role - strong sense of direction in most teams - upper management and execs really cared about culture and how people are treated. I’ve never seen a company care so much - work isn’t siloed

Cons

- depending on role - long hours, stretched bandwidth - some upper management can be really messy - a lot of red tape + bureaucratic - office is in Times Square

Pros

Nice people. I pretty much get along with everyone I meet here which is rare at most tech companies.

Cons

The pay is absurdly low and there’s no room for career advancement. People stick around for 10 years to get a promo. I’d say come work here, check it off of a bucket list, and move on.

Pros

Great work life balance with a 2 days in office, 3 days remote policy.

Cons

Most times prefer local talents for hybrid work settings
