Pros

At this point - there are none. If I could have given 0 stars I would have

Cons

- non existent priorities. Every department is running from fire to fire with little to no direction or leadership. - leaders do not seem to understand issues that are leveled up or attempt to solve them (issues with paychecks not disbursing, loan officers not having working apply now links for WEEKS, basic day to day process issues, system issues). The most executive leadership is either completely unaware of how bad it is OR they have absolutely no clue where to start because of how large the pile of issues are - inconsistent work responsibilities. They’ve laid off over 60% of our staff after merging with Caliber and the market shift. There is no historical knowledge left. Everyone is asked to “carry more workload” with no pay increases, no cola raises, no promotions. Have been directly told to figure it out or find somewhere else to go. - there is no trust. Employees are at a complete loss. Company is most concerned with return to office and cancelling all their remote workers (ones that were actually hired as remote had to chose to go into a new office or take a pay cut). - all white men in executive leadership positions. Run. Absolutely run. This place is a nightmare.

Pros

Opportunity to connect with a group of creative individuals Indirectly learning how the industry functions in a fast-paced environment Efforts to spark connections through internal groups such as Employee Resource Groups

Cons

Unrealistic work assignments timelines with ever-growing duties outside of the my original job description Hostile work environment and passive-aggressive behavior from "leadership" Lack of training and guidance in a new position and when advised such to the director was informed, "it's not their job to do my job." This left me confused as to who's job is it to train then? micromanaged daily even though I was not on performance probation and had to send daily emails of every task I performed that day Disconnect as a whole, for the company, everyone seemed lost on the correct way to operate as a company. There is no diversity or inclusion

Pros

None whatsoever, even if I dug down deep.

Cons

- Baron comes across like a used car salesman in a rush to take a nap. - Upon our merger with them, our benefits changed and were infinitely worse -they immediately began laying off people - our PTO policy changed. We were also encouraged to let our 2021 PTO roll to 2022 2022 comes around and an announcement was sent out stating the new policy- if you’re laid off you will not receive any payout for your pto that you’ve earned and accumulated. This company has zero experience in retail and how you weather the market, maintain profits and save valuable employees. -
