Pros

dedicated sales office for SDR's in chicago. Dedicated to building an outstanding team. Onboarding experience was amazing even with the time difference between the enablement manager and myself (europe vs NA) very solid products with tons of resources and enablement to help sellers

Cons

Quota going up noticeably before even starting the actual role is never ideal. monthly quota!

Welcome to NextRoll! Thank you for sharing your early impressions of your new hire experience. I am thrilled to hear that you are enjoying our dedicated Chicago SDR office and that you find the team committed to building something outstanding. I hear your feedback regarding the adjustments to quotas prior to your official start date, and I understand how that can feel daunting when you are just stepping into a role. We aim to ensure our targets are both challenging and fair, and your feedback helps us look closer at how we communicate these expectations during onboarding. I look forward to seeing your growth and success here! - Amy LeBold, Chief People Officer

Pros

I’ve had a genuinely positive experience at NextRoll. My team and managers work together as one, we hold each other accountable, share what works, and celebrate wins. Sales will always have its grind, but the difference here is you’re never doing it alone. As a remote SDR, I still feel very present and involved. The Chicago office collaborates closely with remote folks, and I’m looped into conversations, enablement sessions, and strategy. When we meet at conferences or onsite, it’s both productive and a lot of fun! If you’re looking to break into Sales, this is a great place to grow. You’ll learn modern motion across AdRoll and AdRoll ABM, get clear goals, and a team that truly wants you to succeed.

Cons

Sales is inherently a grind: you have to love the process (prospecting, follow-ups, consistent activity).

Thank you for taking the time to write this, and for years of building the kind of team culture you're describing. The fact that you feel present and looped in as a remote SDR is exactly the cross-office inclusivity we're trying to build. It doesn't happen without team leads who actively model it. Your advice on continuing to prioritize enablement and cross-office inclusivity is well-taken. Both stay on the list. Thanks for being part of NextRoll! — Amy LeBold, Chief People Officer

Pros

NextRoll has a really collaborative vibe - people genuinely want you to do well and are quick to help out. The managers actually care and spend time coaching you, which makes a huge difference. The culture is flexible and people-first, and the team knows how to keep things fun and motivating even when work gets busy.

Cons

Not really a con, but like any sales job, things move quickly. As long as you stay positive, open to coaching, and hungry to hit your goals, you’ll thrive here.
