Pros

Good paying job, you get every other weekend off, you work more in a day but work less days.

Cons

No communication, higher ups don’t listen to the employees as far as what we think is better for us to work in. Environment is trash. Some cool co workers but management is trash.

Good place to get your feet wet out of college - culture needs some work

Pros

-Fast-growing company with lots of opportunity; new plants being built every year with the latest and greatest technology - Company is bringing in a lot of young talent that will hopefully overtake the "good ol boy" culture . -Fairly safe, clean environment

Cons

-Company will overwork and underpay you in almost any position. -Boss's son/cousin/college buddy will always get the job over you if you don't have a personal relationship with them. -Benefits are terrible; lots of unpaid overtime for salaried employees and long/extra shifts for hourlies. -Sexism, racism, homophobia, and ageism common in the plants and on some corporate teams. - High turnover rate, managers will offload the extra work on remaining employees without consideration for worklife balance

Pros

Hard to think of any. They'll hire you without a lot of experience, but it becomes really apparent why later.

Cons

Most all of it. Management is inept at best and malicious at worst. Pay is low comparable to the industry. As corporate eliminated jobs to save money, new responsibilities were given to me, with no increase in pay. Issues could be brought up again and again with no action to fix things. Constantly understaffed and you will be asked to do the job of 2 or even 3 people in a day. I was contacted on my days off about random stuff, that could have easily waited until I was back on the clock. You will walk 20 to 30 thousand steps a day, and there is no program to make getting good shoes easy. I now know that company shoe vouchers are a thing, and there's no excuse for why they don't do this, save stinginess. Yeah, not good.
