Pros

Work from home is accepted, advancement year after year is not far-fetched.

Cons

What training LOL, there is abysmal training offered to team members joining the team. There is absolutely no work-life balance, you are expected to work into your weekends and after hours with no compensation, if you are salaried.

Pros

Company was very innovative and fast paced when I joined and was still a rising star. The top leadership was and still is a hard working bunch. Niagara was and hopefully will be a market leader in not only product but packaging innovation in the future. The Niagara I started with was like a social club where everyone collaborate as one. Hopefully, that norm is brought back.

Cons

Becoming an industry behemoth might be harming rather than helping the company culture. There's a lot of incompetency and lack of "servant leadership" in middle management. Work VISA issues are sometimes exploited by this middle management, albeit knowingly so- to keep international voices subservient. Cross team collaboration is not encouraged any more and this causes information silos to build up between different departments. Top leadership needs to take account of why certain talent might be leaving and introduce bottom-up feedback loops to understand where the culture might be going sour.

Pros

Decent entry level pay and benefits. Rotations offer wide array of experience. Tons of training opportunities. Good culture.

Cons

Different departments train differently and sometimes it feels that you fall through the cracks. Stuck at pay grade for 2 years (3% base increase, but it isnt much after taxes)

Thank you for your feedback. At Niagara, we aim to provide competitive compensation to our Team Members. We are always improving our benefits offerings, for example by adding adoption assistance and enhanced fertility benefits in 2019. We encourage you to take these concerns directly to your HR partner or manager for immediate resolution. Thank you again for your review, and for all of your hard work.
