Management lacks the proper training to do their job correctly. They should be there to help you to be successful, but the reality is they are too busy to really give the specialized attention that might be required. Everything, down to time, is micromanaged. You will get written up for the smallest insignificant things (i.e. walking in ONE minute past office start time, not having at least 50 calls by lunch, etc.). In all my years of working, I've never had to deal with something so ridiculous.

Operational support is not there to support clients with lots of demands and sales reps must pick up the slack from other departments if they want to service their customer's. Management flies by the seats of their pants. Sales training is non-existent and leadership decision making is questionable. Sales reps are encouraged to be snakes and try to win business from current customer's by under cutting other rep's rates or talk badly about them
