Pros

Good place to learn technology & complex systems Exposure to multiple industries makes engineering fun and challenging Great staff of experienced technical resources, helps with mentoring.

Cons

Most focus was on VA/VE with not a lot of effort on trying new design or development long term. Sales sells items before they are fully developed which puts a lot of pressure on engineering staff to achieve unrealistic goals and live with consequences such as ongoing field service and support.

Great environment for team players. They mostly trust employees with their job responsibilities. Great opportunities to grow in knowledge and cross training in different job responsibilities.

Cons

Cross training and excelente job performances are not taken into consideration when seeking for a better job opportunity/position internally. They'll give you the responsibilities but not the corresponding tile nor compensation.
