      Culture and Wages stuck in the 1970s

      Pros

      Management is generally incompetent, so you could probably coast by pretty easily

      Cons

      Corporate culture is stuck in the 1970s. They care more about measuring the time you spend sitting at your cubicle than any actual meaningful output. And don’t even think about working from home/remote. This place is bleeding employees and it’s no wonder why. They also pay Fitchburg salaries despite demanding in-office work at a Boston location.

      Pros

      Some benefits, but every company has similar or better benefits. Some co- workers, the ones that steer away from all the gossip that goes on there.

      Cons

      They don’t value your work; you’ll be just a body and that’s exactly how they refer to the labor employees. They are verbally abusive to the employees to the point of calling you a “bozo “in front of others. Mid- level management that’s respectful and care about the work but also considered and value the team, leave the company or are driven out. Lack of confidentiality from a particular department, everyone will know about employees’ personal issues.

      Pros

      Generally, people in the trenches get along and HR takes work environment issues seriously. Good product pipeline. Everyone on Glassdoor talks about the cafeteria, but seriously, it's excellent for a company this size. Co-ops and interns can expect to get a lot of hands-on experience.

      Cons

      Executives are dialed-out, but they panic easily and then swoop in to micromanage if there's a fire to fight. New product introductions run years behind schedule because they are handed off from one overextended department to another with no accountability or tracking, causing mistakes, miscommunications, and rework after rework. There is a lot of complaining from managers about retention and disloyalty, but no one wants to recognize that the glass ceiling is a problem and it drives employees to other companies.
