Pros
The people are great at Novarad and the coworkers make you enjoy your job.
Cons
Unfortunately, the CEO is the worst person in the company and he keeps Novarad from succeeding. He is known for harassing the women of the office and unfairly yells at and punishes employees, sometimes for no reason. He has a massive ego, and if you threaten that, you will be punished repeatedly. He takes particular interest in specific departments at an almost obsessive degree, and will micromanage those departments at any cost. Speaking of cost, good luck getting paid fairly here. The CEO is too worried about forking out massive amounts of money for his pet projects and traveling, so a lot of people are severely underpaid with no opportunity for growth. Some parts of the company are allowed to work from home, and others you will get no flexibility. He only gives unfair preference to his favorite departments. The HR team is phenomenal, but are limited in what they can do to help if you have any issues with the CEO. The benefits are not ideal, and the company praises themselves for offering 2 half-remote sick days a year, the other half of the day you will have to take the very little PTO you are given. Hopefully you feel better by the 3rd day and don't get sick again the rest of the year...seems odd for a healthcare tech company to not offer sick days or parental leave.
