Pros

- Gym facilities - Free meals - Free products - Monthly on-boarding event (free drinks)

Cons

Where to start... The company will never mature with it current management. It may grow but will never become a well oiled machine or handle a downturn in the market. The unrealistic timelines on new products (aka. re-branding of failed products). The focus on top-line revenue only. More concerned with public perception than actual corporate health (CMO is amazing at his job, truly). Managing cash flow at the risk of supplier contractual terms. These are just a few of the lowlights from a corporate perception. Unless you are in sales, the work life balance is atrocious. There is no advancement unless you hire in as an intern or fit into the "inner circle" (or boys club as other mention). There is obvious sexism but with a young and inexperienced HR team, little will be done. Know that unless you are upper management, get used to seeing their flashy cars and hearing of their lascivious trips (yes business trips too) while wondering why you are paid under market value. There is constant turn over. Lack of vision from management outside of revenue goals (catching a theme here yet?) The list could go on, but this is not to bash the company. Overall: The fast paced environment is fun and the perks do help if you partake in them. If you are looking for a career, you may want to really contemplate your decision here. You can learn a lot quickly, but long term commitment may be an issue.

High Turnover, Poor Leadership, Lack of opportunities for growth

Pros

free Gold's Gym membership, free supplements if you want them

Cons

No work life balance, culture is forced (mandatory team building events, holiday parties, or social mixers). If you have other obligations and have to miss a culture event, leadership only excuses "extraordinary circumstances". Just wanting to spend your evening with your family is not excusable and you can expect multiple emails from leadership guilting their reports into attendance. High stress environment resulting in high turnover- even though management says they are unrelated to each other- all the recent departures do indeed have a common thread, whether or not HR or the CEO want to believe it is otherwise. A recent 3 month severance package was offered to all to try to get ahead and control the stream of people leaving the company- another example of the insecure environment.

Pros

Free energy drinks- that’s it.

Cons

Everything else. This company promotes based on networking, race & gender. The only people who receive consistent promotions and raises, are males or token white women. Everyone else will suffer. The Field Reps are wholly at the mercy of their Area Sales Managers- many of which do not have post-secondary education or leadership experience. It is no coincidence, that most of the field reps are women who are working under on qualified men. Any sales incentives are completely commandeered & controlled by these male sales managers. Women (of color) do not stand a chance. Educated women of color will waste their careers & LIVES at this company. Many have left in the last year for competitive energy brands or taken their talents elsewhere. Take a look at the Nutrabolt/C4 team in your area, and it will be led by white males with a few token white women sprinkled in between. And that is about it. It has been a soul crushing experience to witness firsthand. Any grievances will be brushed off, and you will be left alone, gaslit, paid poverty, wages, and left without any promotion-after years of dedicated work. Diversity and inclusion is nonexistent and leadership has created a utopia for mediocre White men- off the backs of women.
