      Toxic culture

      Pros

      Majority of team members are highly capable, committed, and decent individuals, and they deserve to work within a culture that promotes respect and appreciation.

      Cons

      The organisational culture is deeply problematic, characterised by autocratic leadership. The conduct of both the Global President and CEO reflects patterns of bullying behaviour, which has contributed to an atmosphere of anxiety and uncertainty among employees. It is concerning that Advent has permitted such practices to persist. The operating environment is combative, employees are undervalued, and their contributions frequently go unrecognised. This is particularly regrettable as the majority of team members are highly capable, committed, and decent individuals, and they deserve to work within a culture that promotes respect, collaboration, and appreciation.

      Leadership That Actually Listens - Fair Promotion and Compensation

      Pros

      I had a really positive experience with the leadership. What stood out most was how fairly I was treated when it came to career advancement. I received a promotion that I felt I had earned, and the company offered me fair compensation without me even having to negotiate or ask for it. The upper management is accessible and responsive. There isn't a hint of the toxic approach I've seen in other places.

      Cons

      Not as much clarity on what the path forward is as there once was, and some of the small benefits are gone.
