OCuSOFT has been my home away from home for eight years and I can't imagine a better place to work. The company and senior management really emphasize team work and communication. They have worked hard to create an environment of trust and team spirit so everyone feels more like family than co-workers. They allow the flexibility for all employees to succeed to their fullest potential while maintaining a balance outside of the office. Growth from within is always emphasized and nurtured so all employees can expand their knowledge and potential. Throughout the year, OCuSOFT hosts numerous activities to boost company morale such as potluck lunches, karaoke parties and dress up days for various occasions including the Rodeo, the Super Bowl and Halloween to name a few. In addition, hot meals are cooked three days a week on-site so employees don’t have to leave the building for lunch, there is a free gym facility with a professional instructor on the campus for all employees to use and there are bi-annual blood drives and health and wellness screenings as well as free flu shots. OCuSOFT also holds a yearly “Hack-A-Thon” so all employees can provide their thoughts on ways to better the company. Most of the ideas are implemented during the course of that year. It really shows how important each employees voice is to the company and how important each person’s feedback is to the management team. OCuSOFT provides employees access to a general range of benefits including group health insurance, dental and vision coverage, LTD insurance and a matching 401k retirement plan. In addition to seven paid holidays, employees receive two “Floating Holidays” and Paid Time Off that is earned during the year. Each employee’s birthday and anniversary date are recognized with a small monetary gift. Minor children of employees each receive gifts at Easter and Christmas. Also, throughout the year, employees enjoy the benefit of random raffle drawings and company special events ranging from pajama parties to cook-off contests. There is an annual Thanksgiving luncheon for all employees and throughout the year, the company also sponsors lunches when specific sales goals are reached. OCuSOFT believes that an employee’s spirit and morale greatly influence the overall performance of the company. OCuSOFT is also able to give back too many charitable organizations, including international mission trips, local and regional fundraisers, our overseas troops and health fairs across the U.S. OCuSOFT contributes to these organizations as an extension of our efforts to improve lives and make a difference in the community. Locally, OCuSOFT supports numerous organizations and opens their office to a community Halloween event each year where local day care centers can bring children for a safe trick-or-treating environment as well as fun and games. I can’t imagine a better place to work or a better team to work with.

This is my second time at this company. I started as Help Desk Clerk and moved up to IT Manager. I have enjoyed my time at the this company, they listen to their employee's suggestions and ideas. They have employee events for the employee s every month, which make for an exciting atmosphere. The employees are great to work with and make you look forward to going to work. The upper management team I feel cares about about the success of the employees. Ocusoft likes to promote from within the company, if you are will to do the work required for promotion. I would say the people at the company make it a wonderful place to work.
