      Great community involvement. Felt supported to volunteer.

      Cons

      Minorities will not advance within the company unfortunately. This is fairly clear from the beginning with the lack of attention and support. Management is well-aware of the on-going issues. Interviews are also selected based on who you know and your ethnicity.

      Pros

      OGE has good benefits with great company matching on 401k. Great at supporting the community, especially if it is visible and they receive credit in the media.

      Cons

      OGE discriminates against women, minorities, and queers. White men with "potential" are given preferential assignments and special considerations. The company's history and demographics speak for themselves.

      This job is miserable, turn over is high, management in my department is unqualified, cost cutting measures, lay offs and force retirements have begun throughout the company.
