OGE like any company has issues that can be overcome with enough time and money. But in the mean time they lead to tighter budgets, longer hours and less than ideal working conditions. More specifically:
1. No common corporate vision to help drive cohesion between departments
2. Education and professional experience are no longer the primary considerations for staffing.
3. OGE IT's dogmatic adherence to a failed process has driven themselves out of relevance .
4. Inability to accurately forecast work effort, lack of process maturity , lack of qualified personnel and a guiding principle to purchase the latest hype products regardless of a budget to maintain systems has created customer dissatisfaction and distrust.
