Pros

Not really much to say here in regards to positives. Some of the newer team members were fun to work with.

Cons

Micromanagement at its worst. Top management is impossible to work for. Incredibly cheap with employees and only worried about putting money in their own pockets.

Pros

You are able to write off the miles you drive to prospective businesses on your year-end taxes and you can put your email address that they give you on to your phone so you can read your emails on the go.

Cons

Everything is smoke and mirrors from the get-go; once you have offered the job, things change - A lot. First of all, the actual job offer makes you think you're getting paid a certain salary (the salary they promise is still a far cry from the standard salary of most copier companies), but then when you start training and conversing with the other employees, you quickly realize that the salary you thought you were promised comes with HUGE stipulations/expectations that roughly 95% of the employees aren't actually able to meet, so you're actually making about $11,000 less than what they initially offer. I have worked for a couple copier/I.T. solutions companies in the past, and I can say that this is by far the cheapest and most tyrannical company yet. The owners will never advertise, so you're both the sales arm and the marketing arm of the company, which makes your job 10x harder (and is the main reason that the head sales director of all 3 branches quit after working here for only a few months). This company is trying to sell new, digital/paperless office technology without even outfitting their sales teams with any kind of mobile device, only an old desktop computer at your office desk. Out of all 3 offices and several sales teams, there are about 3-4 Offix salesman who have sold anything from Offix's product portfolio, so don't get comfortable and be ready to make a living off of your base salary alone. The expectations the owners put on the sales teams is literally impossible to achieve unless you have an enormous amount of prior working relationships with businesses in the territory that they assign you. Also, they tell you that you have "paid time off" and "holidays", but if you take vacation days or their is a federal holiday, you are still required to make 50 cold calls, referral calls, emails to prospects each day during your vacation/holiday, or else they will dock your salary tremendously. All-in-all, you can make more working at McDonalds than you can with Offix.

Thank you for your feedback! We are reviewing our interview and onboarding process to make sure the point system, pay / commission scale is completely understood before a new member joins the team. We are also looking into providing mobile devices so the CRM system can be used on the go. Our goal is to provide the tools the sales team needs to be successful.

Pros

I met some very nice people and learned how a company should not be run. I learned about a new industry and some industry leading brands.

Cons

The owners cause a lot of contention and needless hurt. They raise and cut salary at the drop of a hat. The point system is a standard invite industry but the way it's set up its not possible to make the money you are promised. The company benefits from all levels of a sale from financing to assets to service They really should share more with The employees.
