Pros

Decent pay and some flexibility.

Cons

-Middle managers get no support. - When asked why other people with the same responsibility are in a higher pay grade the response is always “that’s just not something we do in this department. -When you try to support your staff and be accommodating you’re often told you are too accommodating. -associate and manager training for support departments is garbage. -Held to unrealistic expectations for scores and don’t even gauge by the percentage which you can control, instead they gauge by the percentile rank which you cannot control. -Don’t support managers in making changes to benefit their team. -Don’t listen to managers who want to see change and improvement, instead they allow them to walk away so they don’t have to deal with them. -internal applications outside your department seem to always get overlooked.

Pros

I had lots of promotion opportunities

Cons

They outsourced everything and the company is now all about the bottom dollar, they no longer care about employees or the community.

Pros

Non-healthcare worker: Good work life balance Try to look out for employees best interest Standard pay raise across organization.

Cons

Health insurance and benefits are sub par, especially since the health insurance is through Ohio health as the carrier. Pay is generally average witharket. Came to Ohio health for job security. Left a decent job to get laid off 10 years later, along with 500 of the 600 staff. The layoff process has been a mess. Seems they were not prepared for this. Telling managers to stop sending departure emails when associates leave because it's impacting work. Sending communication on our job weeks after we were supposed to be updated. All the while they communicate, "you're being laid off, but have grace and patience as we work things through".
