Pros

Good people Plenty of opportunity

Cons

Work comp is an industry where claims are not growing with their customers, their provider contracts do not scale with inflation, and the business is not as attractive as they want to believe it is.

Pros

Technical jobs allow for remote work.

Cons

They pay below market rate, because they cannot afford to pay better. They also lay off employees regularly, making high paying jobs at One Call risky to have. This has led to lots of turnover, and experience drain, which will only continue to get worse. I anticipate they will attempt to solve this with increased contractor labor, but that is how they got into trouble in the first place, so clearly no lesson was learned in terms of how to operate in a better way.
