As long as you show up on time they don't care what you are doing. Made friends there. Breaks were always okay. Department boss really hands on.

Cons

Stay in your cube if you are a woman. HR doesn't help you. Get your boss in the room if the owner wants to meet you.

The Customer Service Department has high standards and the department leadership team is very hands-on with their employees. We are glad you enjoyed your interactions with the team. I am sorry you did not engage with HR and felt uncomfortable in any way. I manage the HR department and am very proud of the level of service we offer to our employees. HR has an open door policy to all employees, and concerns or complaints are addressed immediately, regardless of the level. Additionally, One Legal partners with ADP as our PEO provider, and all employees are welcome and encouraged to work directly with ADP should they not be comfortable working with a manager or HR. Great Middle-Management & Staff

Pros

The people at One Legal who get the work done are a diverse and smart team of can-doers who deal with some of the toughest customers on Earth: lawyers! They also have a great team pf middle and branch managers who get the job done and provide valuable court services. They have a nice work-space, free parking, occasional company events and decent benefits. But best of all are the staff that work hard and deliver through thick and thin.

Cons

Top-tier management is constantly changing direction and wasting valuable resources and time. Their employees' families depend on them to execute the right strategy and lead to success, not just sustain their original business model in a new form. The CEO has all but checked out and is not kept in the loop by his team. Top performers are sometimes viewed as a threat to status quo and the General Manager propagates a worrisome culture. Many managers who perform well and exceed their goals are not included in business decisions and development. Performance feedback and coaching is lacking.
