Pros

Pay and time off were good. Had a great culture statement (on paper). Most of the people are pleasant. There is union talk among the reps - this is needed!

Cons

Leaders of tech support are awful and only care about a scorecard, not the customer experience -arrogant, manipulative, and self-centered are not the characteristics you want in leaders. Leaders of the call center are never seen on the floor yet make decisions to cut the best of our senior team - those that weren't cut, left. Will smile to your face but have a hidden agenda. Customers are very rude via phone (and in most cases they have the right to be mad). New owners are cutting cost, people, tools, resources, and talent. Suddenlink, internally, is going down fast. If you look at what these owners have done to Numericable (which is run them in the ground) then compare to what they are doing to Suddenlink you will see an eerie similarity. There is no union currently, but one is in the works. Sad it comes to this, but all the leadership "spin-masters" have to go and the PEOPLE need someone that will listen and take action. The culture statement that the former CEO developed is great on paper, but sadly is no longer enforced, recognized or followed by new owners or local leadership. Work-life balance - There is no such thing anymore. All of the talent they had is gone so the workload is double for those still there.
