Pros

Great coworkers and good open door policy with expressing complaints

Cons

They have out of date technology, pay way below national averages on pay scale, if you work nights and work on the night of a holiday you don’t get any holiday pay

Pros

It was awesome working in pediatrics. Learned a lot of cool things. Outside lunches were brought in from many different pharmaceutical companies and they were delicious.

Cons

Office was poorly ran. Management picked favorites. Pay seemed low for all the responsibilities the medical assistant had.

Poor staffing.

Pros

Small hospital, small staff. Get to know your coworkers well. Beautiful facility.

Cons

Does not staff appropriately for the busy season. I have been put in dangerous situations because there was "nobody else". I was floated to a department I had never worked in my life and the only nurse on the floor with me had been employed there 2 weeks, no charge nurse.
