Pros

Meet a lot of people that are good friends. Good pay as well.

Cons

Multiple half witted changes. Bonus structure poorly rolled out. Long hours and time put in only to get told you’re not doing enough. Shady business practices like trying to replace you behind your back without warning. No culture whatsoever and only focused and chasing a fleeting profit by giving away so many discounts and deals. All frozen items, so no culture in cuisine as well CEO visits were told that “he would be working along side us” and to “be in the trenches with us” instead it’s just an excuse to fly out and bash OPs who he perceives are not working because of low traffic numbers. Expect us to do local marketing on top of no hosts in the morning, a fleeting boh because of drastic hour cuts that are needed because the company spent so much money on frozen items and no we have to pay for it?

Pros

A long standing chain restaurant with worldwide recognition.

Cons

Everything about the new CEO and the changes he's bringing have been incredibly worrisome and has created a toxic and stressful work environment. The new direction the company is headed towards is a shift away from quality of both product and service and sharp decline into speedy turn around times and insane levels of micromanaging. This is the same CEO that is ruining Panera with cheaper ingredients, less menu items, frozen foods, and a complete disrespect to the Frontline workers in an effort to increase shareholder revenue. This isn't the PF Changs people know anymore.

Pros

Free food daily. You learn alot about food cost, scheduling. You will meet a lot of people that come and go. Fresh food, Prep everyday.

Cons

Long hours if you are on salary. Anywhere from 10hr days to 16 hour days for the same pay. Constant training of staff, high turnover with staff. Impossible to hit bonus goals. Too much work for not enough staff if you are at a slow location. Upper management will back stab you to get ahead or save there positions. You are just a number that is paid to do a job and hit a goal. They will use you until someone comes along who can do better for less money. It is hard to call in when sick because no one can cover for you. If they do cover for you it will just be you having to switch days with another chef. If someone takes vacations you will be short staffed and will just have to deal with what you got.
