"Stable" Cool trucks Cool factory Reasonable work/life balance Good people (although completely disillusioned and unhappy) Reasonable benefits. I would say they were good before the recession, but were cut to reasonable.

Cons

Stifling culture - information management is bewildering Slow advancement, cloudy path up the chain IT is a joke. When they call themselves a "technology company," they are referring to the truck, not the network infrastructure, software, etc. Some people hear the word conservative and think that's unilaterally a good thing, but the flip side of that is they often do things long after their competitors, leaving them at a market disadvantage (I.e entering the China market.)

Excellent Job security. Well run conservative company with opprotunities to advance and learn. You will learn a lot about how to run a successful company, look at solutions beyond the obvious and find way to accomplish goals with minimal expense.

Cons

Things happen really slowly. Very conservative culture which not for everyone. Many people have long successful careers.
