Pros

Great co-workers, given all tools necessary to succeed in role, location was close to home. Overall, the people at this company at the office/regional level were fantastic.

Cons

No opportunity for growth unless someone else moved on. Upper management also felt extremely distant and with a "too good to talk to the little people" attitude in comparison to other companies I have worked for.

Pros

I decided to take a leap of faith and join this company after doing copious amounts of research. A recruiter had contacted me and I figured it was too good to be true. I can now say that I truly love what I do and look forward to going to work each and every day. Working for this organization has challenged me in ways I never thought possible and has continued to foster my development along the way. I was ready to make a change and work for an organization I could be passionate about. Working here I feel a sense of pride knowing that my fellow coworkers and I are putting every ounce of energy into providing the best dental care/service within our communities. Not only is this the message in our local region, but the message stays consistent at the national level as well. There are multiple resources available at your disposal, but you have to be willing to put forth the effort and ask for them. I've found numerous mentors by simply asking questions to further my knowledge. No one makes you feel stupid for not knowing an answer, and everyone is ready to help.

Cons

During the initial on-boarding process it can be a bit overwhelming at first. I had to remind myself multiple times to take things slowly and not focus on perfection. While this isn't necessarily a con, it did require me to adjust my thinking process. The regional support team would tell me multiple times to take things slowly and really digest the information, but I felt so far behind and wanted to know everything right away. This will not happen! You have to trust the process and know that things will begin to make sense after you've been with the company for awhile. You also have to be an ambitious person to succeed here. This is the type of organization that will give you all of the tools to be successful, but you have to do the work. Personally, I enjoy this environment, but I have seen individuals with little to no ambition blame the company for their shortcomings. Make no mistake about it, you are responsible for your success or failure. The regional/national team will do everything they can to help you but ultimately you determine your future.

Thank you for your review. The enthusiasm, realistic perspective, and drive that you share in this review are very much appreciated. It is true that the initial onboarding process can be a bit overwhelming at times, however, we wholeheartedly agree that trust in the process is crucial and that all questions are always welcome. It is also true that we seek ambitious individuals, like yourself, to succeed in this fast paced, constantly evolving environment. We sincerely appreciate your candid review!

Pros

Until recently it was a Monday through Friday job so you could enjoy the weekends with your family. It also previously had hours that enables you to spend most evenings at home with your family.

Cons

Training is half baked and incomplete. You are often thrown into a position with no training and minimal support. The main focus of the company is the mighty dollar not dentistry. I understand a profit must be made but it is done by short changing pay for its employees and adding unnecessary treatments on to patients treatment plans. Company does not like to train and promote from within very easily and there is little growth opportunities.
