Pros

None. Absolutely no redeeming qualities.

Cons

Peak6 likes to run its businesses into the ground they bring in people that throw some catchy buzz words at them who really have no clue. Then they make no attempt to actually learn anything about the businesses they buy up before absolutely destroying them and the culture. Employees live in fear for their positions always walking on eggshells, there is absolutely no trust amongst employees. They like to talk about empowerment, DEI, mental health…but the actions do not match the words. Example, here we know you’re stressed working 12+ hours a day, and we’re not going to change that, but here’s the calm app to help you…

Good coworkers, good WLB, great office.

Cons

Not as tech heavy in their trading strats. Most trading is discretionary so limited potential as a SWE.
