Pros

You can make a lot of money from the uncapped commission. A lot of good people work here.

Cons

All you’re selling is on-hold-messaging. Before you start, they pitch the job like you are selling a world class product. It is on-hold-messaging. Upper management treats their employees horribly. From the top to bottom they use scare tactics to make employees feel like they do not have job security. Micromanaging at its finest. They monitor you dials per day, minutes on the phone, and will even listen to every call when a meeting is booked to make sure it is done correctly. Management has no trust in their employees. Turnover is very high. Most employees quit within the first 6 months. Salary is very low. 35k a year. They do not invest in new technology. They use an internal CRM that is very outdated. PTO is extremely frowned upon at this company. The benefits the recruiters pitch to you are not a reality when you start working. They do not allow employees to call in sick the day of because they think the employee is lying. Again, no trust. Work life balance could not be worse.

Pros

This is an incredible company to work for. The camaraderie at this company is next level. The employees take care of each other and encourage each other. Huge rewards for accomplishing your goals. If you put the effort in, this company will hail you as a god. Great with charity, doing walks and sports and raising thousands of dollars for various charities. Good pay structure, if you're a true salesman, you're going to excel here . Good training programs in place. They give you 2 weeks off for christmas if you hit goal, plus all of the amazing perks with the job keep you motivated.

Cons

High risk, high reward means that you have to put in A LOT OF WORK. If you don't have thick skin, you won't succeed here. Sometimes you work 10 hours a day, sometimes you don't go home feeling as if you've accomplished anything. Those days can really get you down, and management takes a little more of a "iron fist" approach than a "It's okay, you got this!" approach.

Pros

After a tough internal battle, I chose to leave my cushy sales job for a more challenging, higher income potential role with PHMG. As you can see from my title, I've made the correct move. I mean that in every sense of the phrase. I live for the challenge of closing the sale on the same day and, being the competitor I am, I treat every appointment as if it's my last. If you are a good at what you do, but think there should be something more to your sales career, PHMG is for you. I'm a confident person but I honestly didn't even recognize what ability and potential I had until I opened up that box with this challenging and rewarding company. The company has helped me catapult towards my full potential, for which I am so grateful and thankful. I'm calling any sales people reading this to challenge themselves and bet on yourself and come to PHMG. I did it, I bet on myself -- and its not easy, but bettering your life via your career and income is earned, not given, right? If you're being recruited by this company, they see something in you or you've proven yourself worthy with proof of past success. Either way, take that seriously. Great opportunities don't always come knocking. As for me I'm proud to say I'm succeeding month in and month out, while still learning from my peers and trying to get better. I've taken a real step forward in my career and now that I'm on this road I was initially nervous to hop onto, I hope to continue down this path of success and growth with PHMG. Sales will always be a rollercoaster, but every good sales person will take those inevitable downs in stride and stay confident in his or her abilities. I always have the support of the entire company both peers on my level and upper management. If you're looking for a true career path, rather than just another job, continue your application process or begin one today.

Cons

I'd be lying if I said it was always sunshine and flowers. Do I have hard days? Of course, but nothing out of the ordinary. The only real con of my job is driving. There's a lot of it. It's part of the job to get to where you need to be on time, looking sharp and focused on closing, but I love that part. The company will compensate you for your miles, so I'm just referring to the mental and physical aspect of driving. But that's it. I take the time in the car to reflect on life, evaluate my last meeting and how I performed with the prospect, jam to my favorite music, continue to prepare for my next meeting or just call a fellow BDM and chat about what's going on that day. I personally love the fact that I can relax, zone out for a few minutes, and then get laser focused before my meetings while driving, but thats literally the only con.
