Leadership are completely out of touch, on a power trip and have no idea what the job involves. Most have never done it themselves but still act high and mighty. They can take zero criticism and sulk like little boys if you dare to offer your ideas as a lowly account manager to the superior managers.
Ther is no trust and no genuine care for employees and no clear direction. Decisions come from the top with no thought or care as to how employees are effected with no critical thinking, no reasons as to why we are asked to do what we do and the whole department is built on hierarchy of yes men.
Feedback sessions are purely performative.
The culture is toxic and overly controlled. Micromanagement dominates every aspect of the job, quality control are listening to each call you make to pull apart every inch of the work you do. But you can't give any kind of quality output when you are expected to manage hundreds of clients with no support.
You are monitored nonstop and given no flexibility and treated like a child.
Morale is at rock bottom. Do I even need to say this look at the reviews. Everyone on the team is looking for a new job, even newer starters.
Pay. At the end of the day, we come to work to earn a living and it is that simple. People genuinely want to do well and make money but that is impossible when the company keeps setting targets tied to things we can’t control. Give people a fair opportunity to succeed instead of punishing them for issues handled by other teams. If you want motivated employees start by creating a system that actually rewards hard work rather than exploiting it.
To make matters worse you respond to bad reviews on here by telling staff to “speak to the council” but when managers are council representatives, thats absurd.
