3D Company - Disappointing, Discouraging and Demeaning

After purchasing its competitor in Las Vegas, the majority of the employees were able to be hired on and keep their jobs..... until...

Cons

From day one The PLI Executive team (new and old) made it a point that the "former company's culture no longer existed. We are still waiting for that to happen. Somehow, we are right back where we were years ago with the former company. Saying yes to every job that is offered by customers and setting expectations that we cannot meet. All the while we have to work crazy hours, don't get to see our families, can't ask for a day off because there is nobody else to do our job for us. We are told to think outside the box and take initiative and ownership but IF we do it's ignored and then someone else in the executive team takes the credit for it. If PLI is innovative and a leader in the industry why are we going backwards and working twice as hard when there are ideas and processes that can make everyone's job more enjoyable. Don't know how much longer we can put up with.

I have personally overseen massive changes in leadership, process, procedure and work flow all of which have resulted in improvements in all areas of our business. Pros

Insurance, Paid time off, benefits (Yes they are costly but everyone in the U.S HAS To have health insurance) and PLI Makes it as painless as possible. Reviews with most of the time, a raise. GREAT people and friends to make here. Most everyone is on the same page and if not, finds a way to be. Hires people who have a criminal background. So they believe in a second chance for people who otherwise would be flipping burgers the rest of their life for $8.00/Hr They have training courses THEY provide for employees ON the clock. There is a laundry list of Pros about this place and i hope to see it continue to grow but with optimal positive attitudes.

Cons

It seems there has been a HUGE increase of people quitting, or getting fired. Mostly quitting. If there are THIS many BAD reviews, DO something about it. Address the problems and eliminate the threat. The entire moral around our company is shot and everyone can feel it. It's absolutely terrifying and sad to think that moral COULD get so bad one day that it runs a multi-million dollar company down. Without employees who care and are happy that will eventually show it in our product.

When Mark was there it was awesome..

Cons

Management is terrible..Don't believe employee owned either..I was there for over ten years and was terminated cause I knew more about printing then my supervisor and he got scared..They kept all my vacation pay where I didn't take one for years..The employee owned gossip is b.s. as well..I left there and they left me with nothing..Peter Krauss is a liar and a thief..
