They steal from you as a sales rep
Pros
Easy sales pitch. Inbound calls
Cons
If you take an inbound call, and it has to be transferred to another internal department for example commercial, City service, Hawaii, customer service, or outbound your conversion numbers take a hit. Lower conversion numbers disqualify you from bonus opportunities. Whenever the service department gets backed up sometimes those calls get transferred over to the sales department. So you're getting penalized by the company by not being able to convert a call to a sale even though they know that call was intended for the service department. It's a system geared to keep people from hitting bonus. They also do not provide any accommodations for neurodiverse workers. Furthermore, if a sales rep takes a service call, and the client tells you they are just looking to modify their preexisting booking, some cut throat reps will cancel the preexisting booking, abd and rebook an entirely new order, they change the email address on the old order so the client never sees the cancellation of the old order, just the new order, instead of just editing the preexisting order. The rep who originally booked the order never gets paid on the order.
