Pros

Some of the men you work with are fabulous people! Great idea made into a wonderful business. Podzilla is an awesome invention ! Coworkers all want to do a good job for the company, and are very dedicated.

Cons

Some men are cut throat, to impress a management team that only cares about their numbers. JPH, Local market managers, or ATM's TM's and Regional Directors are brought in to destroy any moral that is left in the working man. Dedicated employees are just trampled on by greedy local management and upper (self righteous) management in Florida. Lower management looks down their nose at employees and don't have the qualifications to do their own job, and that is overlooked. Qualifications for local management is to be careless , uncaring, rude, selfish, and to make sure workers have no outside life outside of Pods. Customers not told by call center of space requirements because call center people are just trying to make a buck and get the sale. Drivers are left to make the impossible happen while being the Face of Pods. Sure we can put a 8' X 8' x 16 ' Container in a 6' x 10' driveway with boarders of flowers because the call center said so or because they were never told about space requirements. But management bad mouths the drivers to the customers and say they'll be disciplined, and badmouth the customer to the driver saying they are lying. It's a mess . Containers were not designed to be in operation as long as they have been. Leaks , Leaks, Leaks. New models of containers are being built by eager designers that are worse and cheaper than the original. I could go on and on..... but who will listen? I couldn't find minus stars for -Work/Life Balance- Senior Management-Culture & Values

Pros

Interaction with new people on a daily basis, seeing areas of the counties that you would normally not go out and see. Working on your own for the most part.

Cons

Since being sold and long time members of the company leaving quality seems to be replaced with quantity.

Pros

PODS has an exceptionally innovative product. Money is well spent on Marketing. There were benefits if you were full time. The IT, HR, and franchise teams were awesome. I spent a number of years there and moved up through the ranks. If you were in Long-Distance move or Corporate Sales, you could make some decent money. If you have a pulse you can get hired in the call center.

Cons

The call center is grueling. What call center isn't? I often had to take work home and do it uncompensated. Comp time was basically unheard of at my level. Floor coverage was sometimes thin. Benefits were average, although I considered them expensive for as large as the company was. If you were part-time or seasonal, no benefits for you. I have a feeling that some of the people that were "Managers" with no reports were overpaid. I never got a ride along, but I rented 2 containers.
