      Pros

      Very informal work environment - rather "Google" like. The company seems to have collected a large amount of past achievements in the power industry.

      Cons

      Very poor compensation - I was told at my interview that this would become "a wash" with overtime - never happened. The company is trying to figure out its future direction as they are losing a lot of bids. Since the corporate model is one of many satellite offices, there is poor communication among layers of management.

      At this time I can't think of any.

      Cons

      Poor management. Too many aging ego's trying to run a business. Ethics...what ethics? No you are not an international company, you are a wannabe international company.

      Pros

      POWER Engineers is a better than average consulting company to work for based on its size. Overall: They treat their employees fair, the company culture is a positive, and the knowledge base in the company is well balanced across disciplines.

      Cons

      Starting salary is low, but total pay can be made up with OT. Schedules and project budgets are based on how much time an experienced engineer would take to complete the task. As an entry level engineer, you are expected to know everything as it relates to your job from the start.
