Not a good place to work

Pros

Its good place to work for people who would like to do monotonous work for 20 years without any change in their career path or in the work they do. Generally not much work pressure except few teams.

Cons

I have worked with many companies as an employee and as a consultant. Senior management does not treat the employees well. Employees does not get the due respect they deserver. There is no chance of career growth learning new technologies (if you are a techie). Infact senior management will discourage you if you try to apply latest technologies. In general is not a good place to work if someone want career growth.

Inside Sales Desk at Pacific Life

Pros

Bonues were good when the market was doing well. There were a lot of perks like annual retreat, company sponsored happy hours, nice prizes on sales contests. The management paid for outside training for those wanting to get additional licenses. Management provided tuition reimbursment for those pursuing an MBA.

Cons

Management sometimes made it difficult to hit sales goals because it added unnecessary clerical tasks to the inside sales desk.

Pros

Many opportunities to advance within the company, management is pretty open, atmosphere was friendly for the most part. enjoyed my time here.

Cons

Salary raises were generally not great, bonuses were just okay. Office politics are everywhere and, not sure if it's a fault or just life.
