Pros

Good company that has great products and solid history. Great location. Good people that are always putting the customers first.

Cons

Unstable environment of late due to current market conditions. Salaries tend to be on the low side, but there is room for growth.

Pros

Very stable family friendly and safe place to work that pays pretty good. They don't ramp up and then let go. I feel my job is very stable for the most part. During the economic crisis they laid off as few people as possible. Not a public company so they aren't at the whim of the stock market and their quarterly earnings.

Cons

Difficult to move up into the real high paying positions. Pay isn't as good as it would be at some other financial institutions, but you get a better life balance. Sacrifice base pay for good benefits and good location.

Pros

location, location, and location. Working in Newport Beach makes nearly makes up for the lack in compensation. For the most part, the people are down to earth.

Cons

Horrible leadership. Divisional organizational structure makes it really tough to move things in the right direction. Compensation is not very competitive. I believe their strategy is to make up for the low comp through intangible benefits such as working in Newport Beach.
