Pros

Good pay, great co-workers, benefits are good. There are limited opportunities for advancement. The employees care about doing a good job and keeping customers in product. Lean organization with great manufacturing capabilities.

Cons

The company is not growing. The private equity firm that owns Pactiv does not seem to know how to grow organically, but rather squeezes the organization to produce more cash to the bottom line. Focus should be on keeping employees happy, productive and servicing the customer.

Pros

According to their Financials, they make a lot of money - that’s about it.

Cons

No communication, managers are non-responsive, employees are seen as machines for output & not human beings, no process is smooth, accuracy is lacking in most departments, gaslighting is a prevalent tactic, plans & processes are not communicated amongst the departments directly affected by them, no feeling that your manager has your back at any time.

Pros

Nice amenities like free gym, parking garage, cafeteria with fantastic food. Most of the employees were friendly. Great busy work.

Cons

Selfish management. Only care about their own well being and how performances of, people below them in the work totem pole, effects only their growth. They treat the entry level customer service reps like garbage and are completely disposable. I guess that's what you can expect from a multi billion dollar corporate company. They only care about themselves and the other executives helping them line their pockets, and they don't care who they step on to make it happen.
