Pros

A great culture starting with a clear vision of the future and a mission statement that supports a larger purpose. Working for a company that cares about its people, the environment, and its performance - IN THAT ORDER - is inspiring. Palmetto is truly a unique organization and the employees are very passionate about what they are accomplishing. It is a very open environment, with honest communication so you always know what is going on, and it is easy to witness the orientation towards winning. Internal promotions are common, and potential for career growth is pretty much unlimited.

Cons

Like the industry as a whole, the company is very agile and nimble - often making large strategic decisions very quickly. This allows Palmetto to take advantage of opportunities, but it also can create gaps in process and procedures. Rapid growth sometimes results in confusion until the company can catch up to itself.
