Pros

As newer employee to Parasol in this past year, the job has met and surpassed expectations in the best way possible. There is always a concern that what you hear and learn in the interview process does not actually live up to what the real-life day-to-day experiences are at a job. However, that is NOT the case at Parasol. Parasol followed through on job expectations and culture, and truly lives out their values.

Cons

No cons. Must be ready to work in a fast-paced, all remote environment.

Great place to work

Pros

- Remote work most of the time (depending on position) - Unlimited PTO - Friendly people - Quick Pace - Manageable workload - Vast majority of advancement is done in-house - Separate committees for connections outside of work

Cons

- Workload can feel like a lot, but becomes manageable over time/experience - A lot to learn, but again improves with experience - Onboarding needs to be ironed out, though its currently being worked on

• The company is 100% remote. • Very flexible schedules, no PTO caps. • Leadership genuinely cares about employee needs, growth, and longevity. • Opportunity for interparental learning. • Education assistance opportunities for certifications and career development

Cons

• High work demand with high learning curve. • Very fast passed work environment. • I do find myself working more than 8 hours a day more often then I would like.

We are glad to hear that you have recognized our efforts to implement changes and processes that are centered around improving the employee experience. We truly value employee feedback and hope to keep that level of transparency with staff. We are sorry to hear that you are working more than 8 hours on certain days. We do not encourage working over-time and are working to help employees prioritize their schedules and workload so they can end their day at 5 pm. In response to your advice for new employee onboarding, we are actively working to improve our orientation process by spreading out training over the course of multiple weeks to better prepare new employees for their positions.
