Worst experience of my life.

Pros

Sometimes the company throws fun events for employees

Cons

My manager was psychologically abusive. Any time something would go wrong, he would find a way to blame me for it. Whenever I tried to point out that out, he would deflect by insisting that his *intentions* were pure. When I finally tried to speak up about it, I was punished with a “culture violation” for not being supportive enough (this is a three-strikes rule, and can be grounds for termination). When that happened, I wanted to curl up and die. I felt totally alienated by entire company, including the HR department.

Good but not great

Pros

Good environment for those who fit the culture, friendly atmosphere. Good benefits for full time employees.

Cons

Poor management at the supervisory level. A lot of pressure to hit meaningless goals, if you hit them or not it doesn't matter. Favoritism does exist. Employees are selectively chosen to be cross trained or chosen for certain roles in the company whether they fit the qualifications or not. Several supervisors in the DC are incompetent, however mid to upper management is more knowledgeable. Not the best job for a hard worker. Not much takeaways from the job.

Pros

CULTURE at Parts Town is phenomenal. Every department gets along with another. Parts Town is always striving to be their best. No weekends if you work in the Office. Finally have decent Health Insurance. We have a fitness facility free to use. Quarterly BBQ's- Profit Sharing

Cons

Raises aren't always the greatest. Managers seem to have a different definition of what they consider a good employee. You will lose all of your profit sharing with 2 unplanned absences even if your on your death bed with the flu which causes you not call off if your very ill , go into the office and get everyone else sick.
