Pros

My favorite part of coming to work every day is collaborating with my teammates. I love the multiple perspectives, backgrounds, approaches, and ideas, and the data-driven, principled, and respectful manner in which collaboration happens. I am personally very connected to PassiveLogic's mission of creating the tools of generalized autonomy to address climate change — the world's most pressing problem. I feel that I can make a difference to my most important values through my work here.

Cons

PassiveLogic is growing fast, and steep growth is difficult for everyone. The part I can depend on is that the leadership, board, and team members of the company have a commitment to our mission and core values, and are deeply invested in data-driven, continuous improvement. If a process or practice isn't serving us, the team isn't precious about preserving it, and is very open to innovation and improvement.

I have been working for PassiveLogic for several months now. The team is great and the culture is really good. People are kind, curious and captivated by their work. It's great to work somewhere were so many people care about what they do. Salary is great. I like how we are building something so cool together.

Cons

Pros

Super fun environment of engineers and scientist and designers from every discipline working together to build something truly awesome. The company is a deep tech company, not just a tech lightweight like most other startups, so lots of fun projects and personal development opportunities. The company vision is impact oriented, if you care about environmental issues, here you can have an outsized impact on the world. The company has strong investor backing to meet goals.

Cons

Some time the kombucha on tap runs out, and it takes a day or two to replenish, then I need to switch to cold brew... Seriously nothing.
