Thank you for your feedback. While we are sorry that this was your experience at PayByPhone, we appreciate the radical candor here to share suggestions of what you think can be improved for the organization. Over the past six months, we have focused on building tools and resources to provide development opportunities for our team members, including our leadership. This includes a new global leadership development program, new skills training courses and workshops, and a development program for our Software Development leaders, specifically. PayByPhone has a rich history and we look forward to growing and striving. If you’re open to a conversation, we’d love to hear more about your experience. You can reach our team at people@paybyphone.com.

Pros

The company as a whole is fine. Great people. Great leadership from Andy the CEO. Its easy to fall in love with the product and believe in being part of it.

Cons

It was an absolute revolving door for accounting staff. They've had three Controllers and two Directors of Finance in the last two years alone. There's also been an innumerable number of Accounting Assistants and Contractors who have come and gone. (Look on Linkedin) Why does everyone leave? There are unrealistic expectations and demands of people -- excessive overtime, lack of resources and toxic communication and treatment toward subordinates. One of my colleagues even complained to People and Culture about the treatment they were getting from a higher up on the finance team, of course nothing was done. More proof? Call up Swim Recruiting and other major recruiting agencies in this town and ask why they will no longer place staff there or what they're heard about the Finance environment there.
