Pros

At this company you are treated like a person, not a number, and you feel that every day. If you have an idea and bring it up to your manager, that idea may actual come to fruition because the company truly does value feedback from employees. This gives employees a sense of empowerment and everyone there really cares about the company and their jobs. I look forward to many great years with this growing company.

Cons

Since it is growing so quickly there have been some growing pains and sudden changes so at times there's not a ton of time to adjust to what's coming. The workload is heavy so to be successful you need to be super organized or you won't be able to keep it together. Everyone on my team is super helpful and we work great together.

Pros

This is a high energy, high growth company where every day gives you the opportunity to learn something new. Being in sales for over 15 years, and most of that time was spent with one of the "Big Two", Paylocity brings a breath of fresh air in regards to our technology and service focus. We care about client feedback, we care about always staying ten steps ahead of the competition, and most importantly, have an open door policy for candid conversations to promote a happy work environment.

Cons

This could be a pro as well. Being with a high growth company requires you to wear many hats and to think outside of the box. If you are not willing to go the extra mile or do more than what your job description says, this career/company is not for you. If you want to be mentally challenged and want to push your own limits...this is your dream job.

Pros

I came to Paylocity after working for more than nine years in the not-for-profit sector. I was worried that coming to a company that valued profit (and one that went IPO in 2014) would suck all the fun out of the job, but I was wrong! The mantra here is "a happy employee equates to a happy client" and management really goes above to ensure employees are happy. From flexible schedules to work-from-home opportunities, this is a place I look forward to working at for years to come!

Cons

Not family-friendly. No maternity leave, paternity leave, "bring your child to work" days, or anything to encourage family.
