Hello there! Thanks for the time you spent with us and for taking a moment to submit a review. The BDR role is absolutely critical to our sales team's success, and we're very thankful that we've got a great team of leaders in place who are happy to guide new folks when they join the team. We're generalizing a bit, but it's fair to say that most BDRs are taking on a sales role for the first time when they start. When you combine that with the fact that it's a quota-driven job by nature, it does end up being a pretty high-touch environment. But, it's for a good reason! First, the folks who lead the BDR team were once in your shoes—they know what it takes to grow and succeed in these roles. Second, the quotas aren't just there for the sake of having quotas. We've refined this sales approach over a number of years, and we've learned a lot about the kind of consistent activity that's required to bring about the greatest chance for success. It's a proven model, and we're always excited to share the methodology with new team members. We fully understand that the BDR role is not an ideal fit for everyone. We're transparent with candidates about the parameters of the role, and we firmly believe we've got all the resources in place to help people succeed when they join the team. The leaders who started as BDRs are an excellent example of how your career can progress at PerfectServe. Thanks again for everything you contributed to the company, and best of luck in your career!

Pros

Great work life balance. Understand you have a life outside of work. Understand you are not a robot and things happen. Laid back.

Cons

Lack of advancement outside of executive roles. Lack of a pathway for career advancement. High rate of turnover in C-Suite.

Pros

PerfectServe's benefits package is the best I've ever experienced--specifically the generous starting PTO as well as US and Canadian holidays AND half-day Fridays during the summer. Team/department leaders care about their team members and make sure you have everything you need to be successful. There is constant communication about career growth. If you want to learn new skills, explore different roles, or just get better at what you're already doing, leadership will support you.

Cons

In the remote environment, it's difficult to connect with people outside your department. In such a big company, it can be difficult to understand how everything comes together to create the end product. Give it time, and it will start to make sense.
