Mid-level mgmt is good from what former coworkers say.

Cons

Writing this for former colleagues who just informed me that literally one day after Hurricane Irma blasted south FL leaving many of my former colleagues without power, gas, a few in shelters, damaged homes, etc.., Perry Ellis executives requested that they return to work at the corporate office but worded in such a way that "it could mean your job" if you do not show up but gets them off the hook should you show up and something related to the hurricane disaster in your life goes neglected and leds to something terrible occurring bc you had to drop everything a get to work. As if those people do t have enough to deal with already! What a piece of crap set of top level execs

Cons

The culture at the company is based upon politics and favoritism, and has absolutely no form of "team" culture. Low pay, terrible management, many layoffs, and no room for growth.

Pros

Really good co-workers and immediate supervisor. Immense talent within the company and my particular group was especially hard working and dedicated because of our immediate supervisor's passion.

Cons

Always a fear of lay-offs, extreme workload with no pay increase (can go years without increase), HR team is horrible and as everyone else has mentioned, nepotism at it's finest.
