Brand value, Great place to learn, If you love to work hard, this is the best place, all opinions from any level engineer are considered.

Cons

Some BUs are terrific, lots of unwanted people roaming around just becaus of politics and makes others life difficult. There are people working all ways in a week, Some people want to bring change, but few others doesn't allow as the are afraid of latest technologies which they don't know.

Pros

- Good culture. Embrace and support employees to do their best - Some business units have started working on latest tech like - AI and ML - Highly technical knowledge oriented colleagues. - Good pay and benefits - Internal Job movements - can change after serving in a role for 2 years. - OBL's - Out bound learning activities is fun.

Cons

- Most of the projects work on Legacy systems, which means your technical growth on latest tech can be limited. - Work pressure is extremely high and demanding in some BU's - Work place politics ( may be due to the average staying period of an employee is high here and ppl are not willing to accept change easily)

- Great work-life balance; - Relatively high salaries; - International travel possibilities; - Amazing training opportunities.

Cons

- Very difficult to track and evaluate performance, which makes the performance review unfair at times; - At some departments, such as Philips Innovation Services the company structure is rather flat, talented people don't grow/promote since they have no place to go within their own company.
