Pros

No day is the same; Great team spirit; Exciting atmosphere as company growing and expanding rapidly; Plenty of opportunity for growth; All work noticed and appreciated

Cons

The only thing I would change would be an earlier start and earlier finish as the night is very short when you get home. Would be more conducive to a better work/life balance I believe! Otherwise I can just become an evening person and learn how to motivate myself to do more in evening. There's bound to be an appropriate self-help book or blog for this...

Pros

- Massive career trajectory for people with great attitude - Culture is amazing: laid back but so much gets done - Really friendly team and managers and great team spirit - Autonomy: your ideas get heard, you get to implement them and you can't get lost in the mix. every voice is heard and appreciated - Product is best in market so clients love the company and you feel like you are behind something you actually believe in

Cons

- Salary vs. some other tech companies of similar size is probably lower. However Phorest's money comes from sales not fundraising like other tech companies, so it's in for the long haul, plus they do hire from within so there is good opportunities to get continual raises - The management team (even non-founders) are obsessed with the company. They demand loyalty and work,life, balance is certainly not impossible , but during busy times ,working however long it takes to get something over the line is the norm. - Benefits are not great although you do get GP visits
