Pros

International legacy of historical significance. Interesting and demanding work. Good benefits within US government restrictions. Dedicated colleagues. First line supervisors are open and receptive to new ideas.

Cons

Coordination between business units was not optimum. Not all Investigators were familiar or used to working with Intelligence Operations or Intelligence Analytical staff. Therefore, they did not leverage all capabilities. Sometimes long hours and weekend work for offices with limited staff. in 2014, the business plan was too aggressive for success which resulted in workforce reductions.

Pros

Pinkerton is a company with strong brand and history. It drives the organization to be prideful and that shows in its way of doing business. The company is loyal to it's employees and to it's clients as much as any for profit company can be. It is a strong family.

Cons

The HR process for recruiting and new hires is a bit dated. Look past this and seek out conversations with other Pinkertons to get real impressions of the company.
