No respect for instructors

Pros

They command the fitness facilities of some of the biggest companies in the world.

Cons

No respect for the time of their part time employees. I was sent invitations for full time employees that were rescinded for me! They cancel classes whenever they feel like it with no compensation to the instructor who is depending on that income. Also extremely difficult to find subs. They also refused to give me a raise after more than four years of working there with great customer feedback.

Pros

Have the opportunity to learn from other trainers. Able to workout or run errands in the middle of the day. Love the other trainers I work with.

Cons

Management sometimes bring their problems to work. No longer hiring on experienced trainers because management wants them to all train one way. They don't listen to any of your opinions unless it would benefit them. Hourly pay. Extremely difficult to keep health insurance, if you're ever able to get it.
