Great company, great leaders, great culture

Pros

I've been with the company for five years and the work was rewarding because I felt like I was contributing to the improvements in systems, process, and efficiency. The leaders here really care about the people that work here. The culture here is one of the best I've been in in the mortgage industry space. When we were in a growth trajectory, there were room for advancement as long as you have proven you can do the next role or learn how to get there.

Cons

While not a con for me, it's a reminder that Point is still a start up and changes will happen often (for improvements & efficiencies and/or growth) and quickly so you must be able to stay flexible and nimble.

Pros

I've been a part of many organizations throughout my career and the leaders at Point truly make this a people first, remote friendly environment. Everyone is extremely supportive and always happy to help another teammate. The company really has a collaborative environment which is not an easy task when the work force is mostly remote. Point does a great job in recognizing it's employees hard work and dedication and fosters a very healthy work-life balance. Point's leaders instill an amazing culture that supports growth, diversity, and well-honored values.

Cons

There truly are no cons that I can come up with.

Fantastic Leadership, Tons of Opportunity, and a Strong Culture for Growth

Pros

Point is on an upward trajectory, and their product is massively helping homeowners every single day. I've heard countless positive experiences from customers and they are on a mission to expand access across the entire country. All that aside, this is a fintech company with a heavy focus on Engineering and Development. The company has dedicated significant time and resources to hire top notch Engineering leaders and team members from some of the biggest tech companies in the world. Things move fast and this isn't a top heavy organization, so if you're looking to build great products while helping homeowners tap into their home equity in a unique way, this is definitely the place for you. You're expected to be creative and voice your opinion.. because it matters. The founders have a clear vision of what they want this company to be and they are fully invested in it's success. You aren't just a number here, but a valued part of the company that provides unlimited opportunities should you choose to pursue them.

Cons

Some extremely difficult decisions had to be made to preserve capital and set the company up for long term success. Unfortunately this meant losing some amazing people.
