The salary was decent and the bonuses (when one rarely received them) were generous.

Cons

Extreme work hours (80-100 hours per week). Employees viewed as "expenses" not assets. Horrible safety culture. HR does not back their front-line supervisors. Hostile union working environment.

Good pay. Close to home.

Cons

If you are a front line manager, you will be abused and belittled. They give you a company cell phone and expect you to jump at any hour of the day or night, weekends, holidays, and even on vacation. This, after working at least 55-60 hours during the week. You have morning meetings every day where upper management will blame you for things that are completely out of your control. All they care about is getting their numbers so they look good. They are only thinking of the next move up the company ladder. To hell with trying to do things right and safe. As long as they put their time in and move up, they could care less what they leave behind.
