      First job out of college and not sure what i should expect?

      Pros

      Lots of problems to fix and work to do if you are willing. Decent pay and bonus program. Seems like there is ability for early advancement if you have the drive to get you there.

      Cons

      Cooperate mentality thrives in this company. Do not care much about workers and some of the management is completely clueless as to what is actually happening in their plant, division, or entire company. Too much overtime is used to run plants and no overtime is given to salaried employees who are expected to work 50+ hours a week.

      Pros

      Bonuses can be very good.

      Cons

      It is a terrible environment for a young engineer. Very micromanaged. They use you as a "fall guy" for when things go wrong. Generally, they put you on a project that you tell them you don't think will work. They make you do it anyway. When it doesn't work, they blame you.
