Tremendous Workplace

Pros

1. The most obvious pro: This company makes a difference in the lives of children. Full stop. 2. There is a clear line between the organization's mission and the work people do here, at every level. 3. Our network and corporate clinicians are some of the most knowledgeable, wonderful, professionally passionate people I've met. 4. People here are open and willing to change at all levels of the org. 5. I work with enthusiastic, team-oriented professionals, day in and day out. 6. Folks here seek not only to challenge the status quo, but to then roll up their sleeves and build that better way forward. 7. This is a human-centered organization, inside and out. 8. Senior leaders here listen. They don't just hear. 9. I can do/experience/contribute to all of the above and still have the flexibility to take my daughter to school each day.

Cons

The only real cons aren't cons, as much as they're challenges attributable to an organization's growth cycle. Missed communication opportunities, some collaborative gaps, the need to continuously modernize systems and structure, a few legacy-minded holdouts, etc. These are common across all organizations in the competitive business environment. The difference between an organization that succumbs to those challenges and one that meets them with an increasing degree of group efficacy and resilience? See Pros 1-8.

Just keeps getting worse

Pros

Working with the most resilient people.

Cons

Engagement surveys should speak volumes but there is no accountability coming from the top. To be frank, the COO has destroyed every department, created mass chaos, demonstrated poor decision making and rather than addressing the problem at hand the company watches their top talent find positions that will actually value their input and worth. There is a ton of gaslighting and manipulation going on from leadership. I question everyday why I’m staying and am just waiting for the right opportunity to come along to get out.

In doing so, we must be agile and comfortable with change. Our COO is one of 250+ corporate employees and 2,000+ providers working to provide solutions to empower all who serve children with diverse needs. Additionally, our recent engagement survey showed that some of our Operations teams are our most engaged employee populations. We know our peeps value transparency, and in an effort to maintain an inclusive and supportive culture, we must lead by example. Thank you for your feedback. For the past two years, our overall Provider pay has increased, and we have expanded benefit offerings. We are committed to offering flexible and supportive solutions that meet the diverse needs of our providers. Additionally, our dedicated support teams regularly solicit feedback from our Provider network through forums, office hours, test groups, and individual communication with clinical team members to ensure we know what matters.
