Pros

Competitive wages, flexible time off policy for salaried employees, no micro managing

Cons

Press Ganey is lay off happy. Instead of moving employees to different depts or shifting spending, they first eliminate positions. They recruited me away from another company and then a little over a year late are looking for cost savings so they begin to lay employees off not due to job performance but poor company performance and leadership

Please know that we hear your frustration and take it seriously, and your perceptions will be conveyed to the team. Like many companies right now, Press Ganey is adjusting spending to ensure continued strength through an inflationary and recessionary environment. The company went to great lengths to limit the number of employees whose jobs were impacted by cost-cutting, but unfortunately, some layoffs were still necessary. The decision was not made lightly, and our focus is on supporting employees who were impacted. If you would like to talk further, please feel free to reach out to nell.buhlman@pressganey.com.

Remembering Press Ganey of What it Once Used to Be

Pros

The compensation and benefits are great. I have gained valuable friendships throughout my career here at PG. I appreciate the guidance and expertise I have been given during my experience. The flexibility of being able to work fully remote with the option to go into the office as needed is great.

Cons

Employees are becoming less important. Culture has gone down immensely, yet this seems to be overlooked by the leaders. I don't understand how we are such a YES company, yet we are falling apart in other areas, and it goes unnoticed. Employees have left by the handfuls, most being seasoned. Wouldn't' this be an eye opener?

We hate to see someone with your tenure leave the organization. Associate recognition and development and recognition are core elements of our employee well-being efforts. Healthcare is rapidly changing, and Press Ganey continues to adapt and innovate to serve our clients’ ever-changing needs. Change and growth is difficult, but our leadership team works hard to support and provide detailed information to employees, guiding them through the change.
